So I fell asleep reading Chameleon and had the crackiest of crack dreams.

Background:  Chameleon is a Sherlock/Sentinel crossover fanfiction.  In this world, there's Sentinels (like Sherlock) who have super senses, and Guides (like John Watson), who are rare and help the Sentinels control their senses through a bond.  At this point in the story, John is about to be forcefully bonded to a mean Sentinel, and Sherlock is not happy about it and plotting to break him out.  His plan included a zipline from the Tower where John was being held to the next building over, then a taxi from there to complete their escape. Because Guides are rare and bonding is important, Guides are in great demand and Sentinels will go hunting in swarms to find them, take them back to the Tower, and fight over who gets to bond with them.
So.  My dream...
I’m pretty sure I was John, and Sherlock and I were making our escape from the Tower.  We’d gone across the zipline, but my entire extended family were Sentinels, and they were wandering about on the other end and tracking us with the intent to sent me back. It was really creepy, because they weren’t so much actively tracking us, just STARING as we went past.
We got out of the building more or less okay, but the taxi wasn’t waiting for us.  Instead, the Winchesters were. At this point, I’ve no idea where Sherlock went, because I’m pretty sure I was the only one in the backseat of the Impala, and with Sam and Dean up front…yeah. No idea what happened to him.  But we were going to make our escape when two other cars drove up and blocked us in.
So there was running again (lots of running, but no Doctor Who crossovery crack), and the natural solution for escape was, of course, apparate to Hogwarts. (I think Sherlock turned into Harry at this point, but I’m not really sure…) Except only my body went to Hogwarts?  My spirit was still very much in range, and they could hunt me without my body.  So I hid under the deck at my parents’ house, and that worked pretty well, even when they sent a puppy in after me (why they used a puppy as their sniffer dog when they had super senses, I don’t know, but it was really cute).  They did find me, though, and there was no mercy, and I’ve no idea what they were going to do with me because then I woke up.
So in summary, reading Chameleon leads to Sherlock/Sentinel/Supernatural/Harry Potter dreams. And also my entire family turning evilish. Good times.
